Kid Cudi Will Be Acting In A New HBO Series

by Tim Beachum

Hip hop artist Kid Cudi has bad the transition from hip hop artist to acting. The up coming rap artist has landed a leading role in a new series on HBO.

The truth is I have received a couple of press releases about a rapper named Kid Cudi as well as a few media packages, but I have never heard of him.

To most this guy has come out of no wear and is taking over the hip hop game. I decided to do a little research on this Kid Cudi and boy was I blown away. I immediatly loaded up my iphone with every mix tape track that I could find of Kid Cudi's. This guy is pure fire, and is bringing back what I like to call real hip hop.

Ok... Ok... I may have digressed a little, so allow me to get back on track. Kid Cudi will be featured in a HBO series entitled, "How To Make It In America." According to inside sources the HBO series will be produced by the same guys who did Entourage. I was also told that Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer. Julian Farino has taken the seat as director, and for those of you who may not know that's the director from Sex And The City and The Sopranos.

In the upcoming series Kid Cudi will be playing a guy by the name of Domingo Dean. Despite Cudi's rapid success he doesn't want his character to have anything to do with his rap career.

Although landing a lead roll in the new HBO series is extremely demanding Cudi has still maintained his music career. In fact he has a new album coming out September 15th entitled, "Man on the Moon: The End of Days." The album will feature The Clipse, Common, Kanye West and hip hop super star Snoop Dogg. The production for the album was supported by Kanye West, Just Blaze and Will.i.am.
